I began Leash on Life because dogs are truly my passion– they are therapeutic, funny, loyal and truly bring a smile to my face each and every day. I have always been devoted to dogs on both a personal and professional level. I had a Labradoodle named Fenway, and she was an incredible role model for so many of the dogs with whom I've worked. She was truly amazing and taught me so many life lessons about unconditional love and loyalty. Fenway was a huge part of my desire to 'follow her lead' onto this incredible business path.
I have a twenty-year background in school psychology. I worked as a NEADS (National Education for Assistance Dog Services) volunteer and initiated a collaboration with the Pets & People Foundation in providing visits from a service dog to assist children with special needs. I worked for In Good Hands, a company that provided dog walking and pet sitting in the Boston area, and also partnered with my sister for 3 years in a locally based pet care company. My combined background in psychology and pet care provide me with a “leg up” in understanding both the behavior and individual needs of your canine companion.
I am now putting my best ‘paw’ forward with Leash on Life Pet Services because I know all too well how difficult it can be leaving our loyal companions and disrupting their routines. I want to help bring you, the owner, peace of mind knowing your precious pup is well cared for in the comforts of his own home. I pride myself on being considerate of any concerns you may have and providing thoughtful interactions with your pet. I am very committed to delivering the best professional care for your pets, be it a walk, drop-in visit or overnight care. Rest assured, I will work hard to create a warm, relaxed and comfortable environment for your pet while you are away.
