Dog Care Services & Rates

This is a free consultation which provides an opportunity for all of us to meet. You the owner, your dog (s), and us.  Our purpose is to discuss your needs, the services we can provide, and for us to gain pertinent information from you.  Information such as your dog's interests, temperament, behavior, daily routine, exercise regimen, etc.  Also, during this initial meeting, we will review some forms (i.e., Dog Information, Veterinary, etc.), and go over location of items, such as your dog's harness, leash, food, water... If you feel comfortable and feel we are the right fit for you and your dog, we will go over other important details.

Our dog walking services cover Boylston, Shrewsbury and Northborough. Our services are ideal for pet owners with very busy schedules who want the peace of mind knowing their canine companions are well cared for. We provide your dog with the time, attention, love and affection you would like.  We pride ourselves on being flexible, consistent and reliable.  All dog visits consist of cuddles, belly rubs, scratches, refreshing/replenishing water, removal of pet waste, and communication via text with a photo or video.  This communication is so critical to us as it provides you with a snapshot of your dog's field trip or adventure during the day.  Also, if your dog requires feeding or medication, we've got you covered.

Leash on Life Pet Services is here to ensure your dog gets exercised to enhance his health, happiness & well-being.  Clients are able to schedule a dog walk as often as they require (5 days a week, 3 days a week, 1 day a week, or perhaps only once a month.) We will work around your needs.  If you have a special request, or a last minute need, give us a call and we'd be happy to work out a solution to assist your precious family member.

Pricing Per Walk (We pick up and drop off your dog.  Transportation is included in the rate):

30-45 Minute Walk: $23.00

This longer excursion provides your dog more time to explore, be active, and have more physical exercise.  They will be grouped appropriately with other dogs. We specialize in 30-45 minute off-leash group dog walks for all dogs who are well socialized and behaved off leash.  Providing regular exercise improves your dog's mental stimulation, social skills, and behavior. "A tired dog is a happy dog."  Who doesn't want that?

60 Minute Walk: $30.00

This is a terrific option for dogs with high energy levels or for those pups who require a greater dose of attention and companionship.  Your pup will be itching to tell you all about their fun fest!   It is sure to be a four-legged fan favorite!

*Additional dog is $7

*Weekend rate is an additional $10

*Holiday Surcharge is an additional $10 and is subject to provider availability. Holidays observed are the following: Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.

*All dogs must have all vaccinations up to date prior to walking with other dogs.

*Keeping your dog safe and secure throughout our time together is a top priority, beginning with transporting him to a dog park/trail.  We strongly recommend that your dog come equipped with a harness so that he can be leashed properly in the vehicle.

Does your pet need a quick relief visit in the yard, some TLC, attention and companionship? Our drop-in service provides your dog an opportunity to relieve himself, stretch his legs, and break up his day. 

We will let your pup out, dispose of any pet waste, refresh water, give ample TLC, plus a treat.  Following our visit, you will receive a text, and either a photo or video so you can witness the smile on your pup's face!

*The rate is $15 for 1 dog.

*$5 for each additional pet.

We know how worrisome it can be to leave your pets with someone else and how important it is to find the right person to look after them. As such, we will work with you to ensure all requirements are taken care of and that they continue to feel happy, safe and secure while you are away. The majority of pets are most comfortable and happy when they are in the comforts of their own home, surrounded by their toys, bed and familiar smells and sounds. In-home sleepovers serve to eliminate or reduce the trauma (for you and your dog) of having to bring your dog to the kennel or to an unfamiliar setting.

Our 'signature service' guarantees that we will spend 13 hours with your pampered pooch and consists of the following: 2 walks, playtime, feeding, replacing water, companionship, and abundant TLC.  This service also includes retrieval of mail and newspaper, alternating lights for home security, and watering plants.  If your dog requires any medication, we'd be happy to assist at no extra charge.

*The rate for 1 dog is $80.

*Each additional dog is $10.

*If there is a cat in the house, 1 cat is included in the rate.

* Each additional cat is $5.

The Return Home Rate is as follows:

-10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. = $20

-1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. = $40

-4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. = $60

After 7:00 p.m. is considered an overnight rate at $80 for 1 dog.

*For Holidays, a fee of $10 is added (*see above for the observed holidays).

In our very busy schedules, it can be challenging to get our beloved pets to the groomer or the vet. That's where we come in!  We are at your service, ready to help by transporting your pet to or from a location.

*Rate is $15.00 for one dog

*$5.00 for each additional dog.

*Rate is $20 per hour if your dog requires more extensive care - i.e., you need your dog service provider to stay at the Veterinarian's office with your dog.  The rate is $20 per hour of time spent with your beloved pet.

*.70 per mile over 10 miles.
